The Aftermath of an Easter Egg Hunt

Hey! We found another bunny! :) Maddie enjoying her loot from the egg hunt
Pop Pop look at my eggs!
I love you Maddie!
Aunt Keri can you read me this NOVEL
*yes you read right out of all the cute books my mom has she chose a novel called Silver Bells she found in the spare bedroom and brought it out for Keri to read - she seriously flipped page by page and was mesmerized with the author's picture.
Easter bunnies and egg hunts are exhausting!!

My first Easter Egg Hunt

Preparing to take the easter egg hunt by storm!
My first egg
OOOOOO this is fun, give me more
OOOOOOO another!
I love EASTER egg hunts - let's do it again!

First Easter Bunny Sighting!!!!!

Random springtime weather forced us outside for some fun in the sun - okay it was overcast but warm nonetheless...
Posin with Grammie at her first church pancake breakfast with the easter bunny
AHHHHHH here he is!! I'm not quite sure what to think of him really. I love him from a distance but don't put me on his lap for a pic because I tend to scream and cry...but he needs to be within my eyesight and I get really excited to see him. Take a wild guess who the Easter Bunny was???
Here's great nannie with the girls! Maddie and Keri and we're waiting for Mr. Elliot to make his arrival any day now :)
Preparing for my first easter egg hunt - the breakfast was great as shown by the maple syrup on my shirt! Where's that bunny?!?

I **heart** my fridge!

I love our new art filled fridge, sophia brings home about 2 pieces of art home everyday it brings tears to my eyes and I just want to hang it all up and I'll gladly take pointers from anyone as to how to perserve them. Some of them are just too cute. But our little princess doesn't do the hand print or finger painting she doesn't like her hands to be dirty - ahhhh that's my girl.

Indoor Winter Fun and Chillin with Josie

In a desparate need for something different to do in the house we stripped all the sofas of their cushions and made an obstacle course and it was a party hit with sophia. Kept her busy for an hour and we were thrilled!

Sophia has a new friend named Josie and we got together with Jason and Bonnie earlier this month and the girls really hit it off! They had a great time and we cannot wait to ge the girls together again soon. The ball pit was a huge hit, and Josie even got sophia to drink from a sippy cup...even thought it wasn't hers - LOL!

Sicky Sophia

One of the joys of daycare is SICKNESS! I've learned to live with a constant cough and runny nose for the entire family but the flu has made it's way to our house 2x! We also had our fifrst 104.5 fever experience and I care not to experience that again...ever! I was freakin flippin. Diaper duty and laundry while being sick yourself is just insane but I am amazed and have no idea:

A. how sophia survives this with such little fussing - make me a carpet bed, give me my sleeping bag, blankie, nemo, bottle and a movie

and

B. where the heck I find some of the strength to carry on when I feel like death - people told me it would happen but I didn't believe them, but for all of you first time moms waiting it really does happen :)

So we are extremely GLAD to see some hints of spring, it's time for the sick season to end. Even sick she manages to be a cutie patootie.

Curiosity Connection

Some moms have tipped us off to this great Curiosity Connection at the State Museum all geared to children 2+ and Sophia loves it!!! It is such a great locked enviorment where the kids can wonder around and explore a forest, bedroom, farm, trucks, and for the winter there is a winter days section with fake sledding and snow balls, milk and cookies, build your snowman and all sorts of fun stuff - sophia had a blast and we went with Fel and Seth and had a great time followed by a sugar filled lunch at Friendly's.
