Easter and Random Sophie Fun!
Dancing Queen!
Things at the homestead are going well. Sophia is just talking up a storm, full sentences - total conversations. When I named this blog Sweet and SASSY little did I know how true the sweet and especially the SASSY would hold true. Two and a half year old sassiness has entered the building folks and it is quite a roller coaster ride. One minute we are adorable and sweet - the next we are throwing a fit, hitting and using "No" like it is the only word she knows! I've found myself in awe of everything she is learning and how quickly she picks everything up. I am also blown away with how frustrated she gets when she cannot do something and how quickly we can turn to meltdown tantrums.
She tests my limits everyday and everytime I master one phase she moves to the next yet manages to crack me up in hysterical laughter by giving herself soap beards in the tub and then asking to shave it off with my finger - telling me who at daycare pooped their pants on the playground, telling me she wants a scooter like Ben but a "pink" one, telling me to put my coat on it's cold outside, standing out in the rain with her mouth open trying to catch snowflakes (haha), watching her stall at bedtime because she doesn't want to go to bed my saying she has to go potty, singing the entire way to school and home again ABC's sophie style, telling me she wants to listen to bops (aka kidz bops!) No matter how crazed it gets in the morning there is NOTHING in the world like listening to her little voice!
Alll in all as you can see from the pics below, sophia is doing great, growing like a weed and really enjoying the nice weather. She is addicted to SHOES and anything with jems. We wear our shoes to bed. She is completely potty trained and taught herself really she saw other kids at school doing it and woke up 2 months ago saying...no more diapers, underwear. Okay then!!
I thank God for her everyday!!! She is amazing! Daddy is a little scared as sophia wants to go "shopping" every night when we pick her up from school. Oh and most kids recognize McDonald's - my child can recognize a Target store a mile away!!! Ahhh yes, my daughter through and through :)
Hope everyone had a great easter and mother's day!
Next post will be from the beach...stay tuned she's excited and wants her piggies painted for the beach.
