Tu-Tu Cute @ 13 Months!!

Sophia is 13 months old today! I just cannot believe it. So much has changed in this little girls life and I'm constantly amazed at how well she adapts to all of these massive changes. She is walking all over the house, in a matter of 2 days she now goes from room to room - walking not crawling. She has discovered Winston now and she wants to share all of her toys with him and then Winston takes them and runs with them and we run after him to get them as he's chewing them to pieces. I swear this girl's first words will be NO WINSTON LOL.

Her favorite thing in the world is blanket rides with daddy. daddy puts her on the blankets and runs from room to room as she laughs hysterically, she just lounges.

We have been busy, busy, busy here at the Rhine household! And like Stella we're trying to get our groove back! (haha - little shout out to all you movie buffs out there)

We are now sleeping through the night...EVERYNIGHT and taking a 2 hour nap each afternoon - mommy is thrilled. The house is decorated for christmas, we have started the christmas shopping and this morning I actually got up, made her breakfast, ate breakfast, fed the dog, she was still hungry, made her an egg while playing fetch with the dog while warming her bottle all while singing a Christmas carol and dancing like an idiot through the kitchen to try to keep her attention and her from screaming all within a 5 minute timeframe. This is progress!!!!

We've had many the visitors and love it, she has been to great nannies house for a cookie bake off, aunt laurie and uncle carl came over, she had a blast showing all her recent tricks, she went to aunt keri's to play with madeline and also went Christmas shopping for an entire day!! Dawn, Paul and Owen came over from Pittsburgh and she LOVED Owen. The two of them played great - it was awesome to hang with Dawn and Paul and we cannot wait to get those two together again soon!!! She's our little singer and dancer, she LOVES it and is always singing. I love it because I love having music playing in the house all day. She hates SOCKS, she could give Kobi a run for his money Sherry - LOL

I SOOOOOO wish we were off during the spring she loves the outside and her skin is so sensitive her poor little cheeks are REALLY chapped so we need to visit the outdoors in moderation. We took a walk today - its been snowing on and off the last few days and she discovered snow for teh first time yesterday. It was pretty amazing.

Mommy thinks she'll be into fashion or singing - daddy thinks a golfer. LOL!!!!!

It has been a week of 1sts for Miss Sophia! She has had her first trip to the mall - and yes ladies she's a good little shopper!! Mommy's happy, daddy's scared! She had gerber puffs for the first time and LOVED them - she's turned into a little puff queen, she had her 1st dr appt (doing great!), went to her first larger family function, went to Wegman's for dinner and some shopping, went to church and tried a Wendy's frosty for the first time (thanks aunt keri!)

She is now sleeping through the night!!!! We finally are getting sleep! WOOOHOOO the whole house is happy...Sophia also can be out of mommy's sight a little bit and I'm putting money on she'll be walking by christmas - - she loves looking at the christmas trees but hasn't touched them yet - I'm thinking it may be next year for that one!!! She is very very mobile these days...we are getting in a somewhat routine which is nice. She has also taken quite nicely to the carseat - puts her right to sleep! :) LOL

We're getting ready for christmas here and need to start shopping!!!! We had the christmas crusaders (aka Lo and Fel) over to put up trees and decorate the living room and entryway for us - - this was a huge help - thanks ladies :)

It's getting easier day by day and sophia has really come into her own. She has a great personality, laughing all the time, smiling, singing and swaying to the music wherever we go! She is just the apple of our eye and we love her so very much. Here are some pics of sophia and her firsts
